CPR-only courses (HLTAID009) start from $50. Provide First Aid (HLTAID011) courses start from $119. Childcare First Aid (HLTAID012) starts from $165. All prices include nationally recognised certification.

Where is AB First Aid Training located?

AB First Aid Training has two Melbourne locations: Tullamarine (near Melbourne Airport) and Melton (1/39 Collins Road, Melton VIC 3337). We also offer on-site training across Victoria, NSW, and South Australia.

How long does a CPR certificate last?

CPR certificates (HLTAID009) are valid for 1 year. First aid certificates (HLTAID011) are valid for 3 years. Annual CPR refreshers are recommended to keep skills current.

Are AB First Aid courses nationally recognised?

Yes. All courses are nationally recognised under the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) framework, delivered on behalf of Allens Training Pty Ltd RTO 90909.

How long does a first aid course take?

CPR (HLTAID009) takes approximately 3-4 hours. Provide First Aid (HLTAID011) takes a full day (6-8 hours). Childcare First Aid (HLTAID012) takes approximately 2 days.

How much does a first aid course cost at AB First Aid?

Where are AB First Aid courses held?

We run public courses 7 days a week at two Melbourne locations: Tullamarine (2/7-9 Butler Way, VIC 3043) and Melton. We also travel to workplaces across Victoria, NSW, South Australia, Queensland, and the ACT for group bookings.

How long does a first aid certificate last?

Your HLTAID011 First Aid certificate is valid for 3 years (36 months). Your HLTAID009 CPR certificate must be renewed every 12 months. Most people renew CPR annually and full first aid every three years.

How long does a CPR course take?

The CPR practical component takes approximately 60 minutes in class. You complete the online theory component in your own time before attending. First Aid is approximately 2 hours practical, Childcare First Aid approximately 2 hours, LVR approximately 60 minutes, Asthma and Anaphylaxis approximately 30 minutes each, Fire Warden 60 to 90 minutes, Mental Health First Aid approximately 2 hours, and Manual Handling approximately 40 minutes.

Do you offer first aid training 7 days a week?

Yes. AB First Aid runs public courses 7 days a week at both our Tullamarine and Melton training venues. Group and on-site bookings can be arranged any day to suit your team.

Can AB First Aid come to our workplace?

Yes. We travel to workplaces across Victoria, NSW, South Australia, Queensland, and the ACT. A minimum of 12 participants applies for on-site courses. Get in touch and we'll sort a date that works for your team.

Is HLTAID011 the same as HLTAID003?

No. HLTAID011 supersedes HLTAID003 and is the current nationally recognised standard. If your certificate says HLTAID003, it's time to renew. HLTAID011 reflects the latest Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines.

Do you offer childcare first aid training?

Yes. We deliver HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting, required for ECEC, kindergarten, and school staff. $120, online plus a short face-to-face practical. SAM4Schools compliant.

How quickly will I receive my certificate?

We process digital certificates promptly after you complete your training and assessment. Your nationally recognised Statement of Attainment arrives digitally so you can meet compliance requirements without delay.

Is AB First Aid a registered training organisation?

All AB First Aid courses are nationally recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework. Training and assessment is delivered on behalf of Allens Training Pty Ltd RTO 90909. Your certificate is accepted by employers and regulators anywhere in Australia.
