About This Course
HLTAID012 is the nationally recognised first aid qualification required for early childhood education and care (ECEC) settings. It covers paediatric first aid, CPR for infants and children, anaphylaxis and asthma management, and is SAM4Schools compliant.

The practical takes approximately 2 hours in class. You complete the online theory at your own pace beforehand.
Yes. HLTAID012 meets SAM4Schools requirements and is accepted by ACECQA for ECEC compliance.
Yes. HLTAID012 includes HLTAID009 CPR. You will practise on adults, children and infants including AED use.
Your certificate is valid for 3 years. Annual CPR refresher is recommended.
